Q: What is improv comedy?
A: Improv comedy, or improvised comedy, is a form of theatre in which comedians make everything up (story, characters, etc.) on the spot based on suggestions from the audience. There’s no script involved whatsoever.
Q: Why should I care about learning improv?
A: Improv promotes freethinking and trusting others. We have found that the rules and concepts taught in improv also cohere to those taught in the Go Time Agile Scalable Adaptive Scrum Seminars. Improv can be used as an effective tool for businesses and individuals to find greater success in achieving their goals.
Q: I don’t think I’m a funny person. Can I still do improv?
A: You don’t have to be a funny person in order to learn and perform improv comedy. Improv is about following rules and letting loose. The humor will come naturally.
Q: What can I expect from your workshop?
A: You can expect a couple hours of instruction, discussion, and lots of fun! Our professional instructors have years of experience teaching, and will provide all in attendance with a good time!
